FollowLock for X – Privacy Policy

FollowLock for X (“the extension”) is developed by Einstein Nsekele (“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy explains what information the extension accesses, how it is used, and what control you have.

Data the extension processes

Page content scanning	The extension reads the visible DOM of twitter.com/x.com pages to detect tabs and keywords.	Processed in-memory only; nothing is transmitted away from your device.
Premium activation	If you choose to activate premium, the extension sends the Gumroad license key you enter to `https://api.gumroad.com/v2/licenses/verify` for validation. We do not proxy or store the key. Gumroad’s response may include the purchaser email; this value is stored locally to show your activation state.

What we do not collect

No analytics, tracking pixels, or remote logging.
No transmission of tweet content, browsing history, or personal identifiers to our servers (we don’t run any).
No advertising trackers or behavioral profiling.

Data sharing

We do not share or sell any information. The only third party involved is Gumroad, solely to verify a license when you voluntarily enter a key. Gumroad’s privacy practices are described in their policy.

Your controls

Remove data at any time by opening the popup → “Deactivate Premium” (clears premium info) and deleting keywords individually. You can also visit chrome://settings/siteData → “View permissions and data stored across sites” → search for “FollowLock”.
Uninstalling the extension (chrome://extensions → Remove) deletes all associated storage from your browser.
